Medy van der Laan
The Dutch Banking Association is chaired by Medy van der Laan.

Medy van der Laan was appointed Chair of the Dutch Banking Association (NVB) in August 2021. Prior to joining the NVB, she was Chair of Energie-Nederland, the association of the Dutch energy industry.
Medy van der Laan studied Dutch law at the Catholic University Nijmegen. After working in the civil service for twelve year, she served as State Secretary for Culture and Media between 2003 and 2006. Since 2007, she has held positions as director, board member and supervisor in various organisations.
